Based at the Southern end of the Barossa Valley, South Australia. You can find Lou’s Place at Lou Miranda Estate, 1876 Barossa Valley Way, Rowland Flat SA 5352.
What are the restaurant opening hours?
Lou’s Place is open for our Full lunch menu Friday-Monday, 12pm-5pm.
Antipasto, wine, coffee is available - 7 days, 10am-5pm.
Please note the last booking time is 2:30pm for Lunch.
We offer Dinner service Friday nights.
Local's Night - Special Dinner Service the 3rd Monday every month.

What menus does Lou’s Place offer?
At Lou’s Place we offer a choice of different tasting menus, each varying in length.
Each tasting menu is customisable, allowing you to pick and choose menu items. On weekends and public holidays there are two tasting menu options, Feed Me Like Lou and Feed Me Slow, and on Monday or Friday we offer an additional menu option, Feed Me Quick. Antipasto is available every day.

Do I have to do a tasting menu?
Currently, we only offer tasting menus, however we believe our tasting menus have been designed to suit all preferences and hunger levels!
Does Lou’s Place cater for dietary requirements?
Absolutely! At Lou’s Place we pride ourselves on our ability to manage dietary requirements such as allergies and intolerances, coeliac disease and personal and religious preference dietary requirements. All of our staff have completed Dietary Hawk Dietary Requirement Awareness and Safety Training.
Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements and we will do our very best to accommodate your needs.
Do you have a kid’s menu?
Yes we do! One of our friendly staff members will be able to provide you with our kid’s menu on arrival. Alternatively, for kids aged 12 and under we can offer the tasting menu for half price.
Should I make a table reservation?
Although reservations are not required, we strongly recommend that our guests book ahead to secure a table and avoid disappointment.
How do I make a reservation?
Reservations can be made via OpenTable which can be easily located on the homepage.
Are you open on public holidays?
We are open the majority of public holidays, please note on those days a 10% surcharge will apply.
Can I sit outside?
Yes! Simply ask our team upon arrival at the restaurant or let us know when booking, and if there is any available tables outside it’s all yours!
How do I change or cancel an existing reservation?
To change or cancel your reservation, open the confirmation email from OpenTable and select the option “Modify” or “Cancel” and follow the prompts. Alternatively, you can call us on (08) 7800 3222.
Do you do functions/private events?
Yes, we would love to be part of your event. Please complete an enquiry form located on our homepage.
Can I bring in a cake? Is there a fee?
Guests are welcome to bring cake, although there is a fee of $4 per person. We will provide plates and cutlery.
Is Lou’s Place wheelchair accessible?
Lou’s Place has a step free entrance and is wheelchair friendly.
Can I bring my dog?
We love dogs but unfortunately pets are not permitted at Lou’s Place.
Service dogs are welcome.
Lou’s Place has a COVID safe plan in place and are taking all the necessary precautions to ensure the safety of our guests and staff including the enforcement of strict cleaning protocols, limiting capacity in-line with government recommendations and adhering to social distancing measures.
I’ve tried booking online, but there is no spots available?
For bookings over 8 people, please email firstname.lastname@example.org for a table reservations. If no times are available, we are likely booked out. Please find an alternative date to dine with us.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, for bookings over 8 people we require a deposit of $20 per person. The deposit will be charged prior to booking and redeemed on day of booking.
Is there a quieter spot to sit?
The volume inside Lou’s Place varies daily depending on customers we have on that day and therefore we can unfortunately not guarantee a quieter seating location. Please check with staff on arrival if there is an alternative position available.
Do you sell gift vouchers?
We do sell gift vouchers. They are valid for three years from the time of purchase, can be make out to any value and are valid at eleven bar or restaurant.
Complete a gift voucher form and we will contact you within 48 hours to take payment and forward you your gift voucher.
How do I use my Gift Voucher?
Gift vouchers must be presented on arrival (printed or via smart phone) and must be mentioned to staff when booking via phone or noted within online bookings. Vouchers may be used for more than one transaction. We do not offer refunds for gift vouchers. Gift vouchers are not redeemable for cash.
Lou’s Place Barossa Valley and Lou Miranda Estate winery are independent businesses. As such, Lou’s Place gift vouchers cannot be used to purchase wine or other products from Lou Miranda Estate winery.
